A Song on Repeat

Sometimes our bodies crave things...which is our bodies trying to tell us we need something. So last week was eggs for me. I had two scrambled egg sandwiches and then made egg salad for the rest of the week...Oh so good. (this has nothing to do with cadbury eggs this morning)

Sometimes my brain or soul, I haven't figured it out yet...needs to hear things. So yesterday I ended up listening to the same song most of the day. It kept me going, it kept me positive. Now people who know me would agree I am weird when it comes to the music I listen to and how I listen to it...I enjoy wearing things out. But this song was like food for my ears. The lyrics took my blood pressure down for sure and gave me something for my brain to focus on as I like to imagine the scenery in my head for the song. Some of the lyrics rang so hard in my ears though.

Coldplay's "Life in Technicolor" (lyrical version, I do love the instrumental version to run to.)
First- we should all live as full of color as possible, it keeps it interesting and keeps us intrigued. Second- "time came a creepin', and time's a loaded gun". So true, yet so many people miss this daily. We are all in a hurry or on our devices of phones, pads, and computers. We are all stuck in our own worlds of muck sometimes and don't realize that time is passing...whether we participate or not. I for one am not standing and watching the clock tick, I will go out and march to the ticking. What can I do with this time? How can I make it worth? Not all of this tick tocking will be positive but no one ever said life would be perfect. To be unstuck- just pick up one foot at a time and take little steps. Only you can make the change that you want to see.

That's it for now, until later....it's good to put down a few thoughts here and there. Catch me later for the second fundamental...Did you guess what it is yet?
Peace.
